Your Slow Season Is Our Busiest.
WoodPellets.com is expanding its delivery and distribution network across pellet heating Northern states. If you have an idle truck or an extra yard storage from August through December, we have work and revenue waiting.
Why partner with us
A partner with two decades of demand behind it.
We’ve been delivering premium wood pellet fuel to homeowners since 2006 — more than 150,000 tons of it. The heating season doesn’t take a year off, and neither does the demand for wood pellet fuel deliveries. That makes us a predictable, repeat customer, not a one-time job.

Demand you can count on
Every fall, homeowners across a dozen states need fuel delivered before the cold sets in. That demand arrives on schedule, every single year.
We do the hard part
We handle the customers, the orders, the routing, and the dispatch. You handle the equipment and the driving — or the storage and the loading/unloading.
No long-term lock-in
Most of our partner agreements renew annually. Try a season and see how it fits.
Payments every week
We pay our partners on a weekly cycle, every cycle.
Several of our partners have been with us for more than ten years.
In a business built on seasonal capacity, that’s the number we’d point to first. Partners don’t renew for a decade because of a sales pitch — they renew because the work is consistent, the earnings are fair, and the checks arrive on time.
Two ways to partner
Pick your lane.
I have a piggy-back forklift truck
You run a piggyback forklift truck and have spare delivery capacity in the fall. We keep your driver and equipment earning through your slow season.
Delivery Carrier Partners
I have unused yard space and a forklift
You have a dry, level yard and a forklift. We pay you to store our fuel and load our carriers — with zero inventory risk.
Storage Location PartnersKeep Your Truck — and Your Driver — Working All Fall.
$110–$120 per hour, depending on location. Loads ready at our distribution centers. All the routing handled for you.
If your busy season ends when ours begins, we’re a natural fit.
Landscapers. Sod farms. Stone and masonry suppliers. Anyone running a piggyback forklift truck who watches the calls dry up as the weather turns.
That’s exactly when our phones start ringing. We need additional delivery capacity from late August through September, October, November, and December — the months when a lot of seasonal operations are looking for ways to keep good people busy.
The hardest thing to replace isn’t a truck. It’s a driver who leaves because you couldn’t keep him working.
Partnering with us turns your slowest quarter into billable hours, on equipment you already own, with a driver you already trust.
What you’ll earn
$110–$120/ hour
Depending on location · paid every week
Industry-leading rates, with loads staged and ready when your driver arrives — so the clock is spent delivering, not waiting or searching for freight. We process vendor payments on a weekly cycle, so cash flow stays predictable through your slow season.
As the carrier, you cover your own fuel, tolls, and insurance — standard for contract delivery work. Everything else is on us.

That Empty Corner of Your Yard Could Be Earning.
Get paid for every ton distributed from your location. We own the inventory — you provide the space and the forklift.
You already have the space. We’ll put it to work.
If you have a forklift capable of offloading 1-ton pallets from a flatbed and a dry, level area that can hold at least 60 pallets, your yard can become a mini-distribution center for our fuel — and a new revenue line for your business.
Storage volume typically peaks in August as we build inventory ahead of the fall delivery season, which means the earning window lines up with a lot of businesses’ quiet stretch.
What you’ll earn
$10 per ton, in and out.
You earn $10 for every ton that moves through your location — paid once as the fuel comes in and goes back out. Run 1,000 tons through your yard in a season and that’s $10,000 for space you already own. Payments are processed on a weekly cycle.

Why it’s low risk
No inventory risk
We own the inventory. You’re never buying, financing, or getting stuck with product.
You set the limits
You decide how much fuel you’ll hold and what hours you’ll operate. No long-term commitments — most agreements renew annually.
Minimum Administrative Overhead
An easy-to-use web application tracks every pallet in and out eliminates the need for any paperwork.
A real point of contact
Payments run on a weekly cycle, and a dedicated contact at WoodPellets.com is assigned to your location.
One requirement worth stating up front: your location carries its own general liability insurance. That’s standard for any yard handling third-party product, and it’s the one piece we can’t cover on your behalf.

What you’ll need
- A forklift that can offload 1-ton pallets from a flatbed
- Our fuel arrives by the truckload and has to come off safely.
- Space for a minimum of 60 pallets (60 tons)
- That’s the volume that makes a location work as a distribution point.
- A dry, level, secure storage area
- Pellets are ruined by moisture — dry storage protects the product.
- Ability to load our delivery carriers, typically mornings
- Carriers pick up from you and run their routes the same day.

Common questions
Answers before you call.
Do I need to commit to a full season?
No. Carriers give us availability week by week, and storage partners set their own volume and hours. Most agreements renew annually rather than locking you in long term.
What equipment do I need to deliver for you?
A truck with a piggyback (truck-mounted) forklift and a licensed, insured driver. That equipment is common in landscaping, sod, and stone supply — which is exactly why those businesses tend to be a good fit.
Who handles the customers and scheduling?
We do. All order-taking, routing, customer communication, and dispatch run through WoodPellets.com. You provide availability; we provide the routes.
What if my yard can't hold 60 pallets?
Sixty is our working minimum for a location to make sense as a distribution point. If you're close, get in touch — capacity needs vary by market.
Do I need my own insurance?
Yes. Storage locations must carry their own general liability insurance — WoodPellets.com can't extend our coverage to your site. Carriers are likewise responsible for their own insurance, along with fuel and tolls.
How much does storage pay, and how is it calculated?
$10 per ton on an in-and-out basis — you're paid once for each ton that comes into your yard and goes back out. A location running 1,000 tons in a season earns $10,000.
How often do you pay?
We process vendor payments every week, for both carriers and storage partners.
When does the work start?
Carrier capacity ramps up in late August and runs through December. Storage volume builds earlier — typically peaking in August as we stage inventory for the fall.
Let’s Talk Before the Season Starts.
Tell us what you’ve got — a truck, a yard, or both — and we’ll get right back to you. Fall capacity fills up early, so the best time to start the conversation is now.
